There's a few blogs I have followed over the years, often they get off to a cracking start, but many seem to falter.

BF494 Pansy, an old trawler, was poster 'Monkey Trousers' on here in the old forum, sometimes hilarious posts, I think he sold the boat.

http://www.ceze.net/ - no updates for a long while, looks like he had a lot on.

http://www.steamyachtthordis.co.uk/ - same as above, lot of work done, long way to go, no updates for a while

MASB S32, brought home from Gibralter, but has sunk a couple of times since. http://www.freewebs.com/masb32/

This last one, I'm afraid to say, I never thought from the outset was doable, perhaps unless there was millions to spend and an army. http://www.hsl2552.co.uk/ A valiant effort to save her perhaps.

I don't mean to be negative, far from it, a wooden boat is a wonderful thing, maintenance is easy, but a rebuild is another matter.

Good luck to them all I hope they succeed.
