Excellent showers etc however… to use the washing machines or driers you are prompted to use ‘Air wallet’, an app that you have to download and register for. I did so but could only upload £10 at a time prepayment and probably because I had clicked on auto update or summat, actually it took £20 before I could get it to connect to the payment system and work the machines. £8.50 for a straight wash, ok, then that left me an £11.50 credit. To reclaim that it cost me a £2 admin fee. So if I hadn’t overpaid I couldn’t have claimed that £1.50 back anyway! Hey ho. You can actually ignore the Air Wallet prompt and just use the keypad to use stripe to take an actual £8.50 payment so I suggest visiting folk just ignore the app and go for a straight card payment instead.
