Fairline Targa, those 2 black buttons in between the ignition keys?

I'm not sure what they are for? I assume engine kill buttons but nothing is mentioned in the manual.

I have never pressed them if fear of doing something stupid!
I just turn the engines off with the keys.

Am I right in thinking engine kill buttons?

They cancel any audible alarms from the electronic engine management system.

You can also use them to test whether the warning lights and acoustic alarm is working properly by pressing them before the engines are started. If they are working all the lights come on and the alarm sounds.

If you have a genuine alarm then pressing the button for the associated engine turns off the alarm but the warning light stays on until the malfunction is corrected.
