Fairline Targa 47 Rear cabin shower access

Hi

I have recently purchased a Fairline Targa 47 ( which I think is great ) and as with with all newly purchased boats I am finding idiosyncrasies.
Todays conundrum is the rear cabin shower - all works fine but the waste water doesnt end up in the sump box under the salon sole but deposits straight into the bildge !! Can anyone tell me how to get under the shower so that I can check whether the pipe has come away from the plug hole at bottom of shower

I can’t answer for your model boat but have a Fairline 43AC with rear bathroom. I replaced the shower drain and pump and had to cut an access hole in adjacent cupboard to get a hand in. It was obviously installed by Fairline before they fitted the surrounding structure. Not always designed with future maintenance in mind.

I will persevere for now as not keen on the hole cutting but will find a suitable / best place to do this - I recon the pipe has come away from the drain but just can't get to it - aaahhhh
