Fairline targa 44gt roof not closing fully / fault ?

Hello
the roof on my targa 44 does not stay closed fully,
It does close then it returns a couple of inches,
can anyone make a suggestion?

no idea on a targa, but my BMW big two piece sliding glass roof does that when there's an obstruction (like a flower from a tree or once an olive that dropped in the summer with the roof on vent mode tilted up)
Generally there are various sensors and possibly on a large one like the targa a torque thing that monitors the closing process, if things are out of spec, backs off to avoid damage.

I'd say clean carefully the rails where it slides hope they are visible/accessible easily!

Ask BCU, if its a known fault they are likely to know.

we had similar with ours on our 47, chris at platinum marine sorted, it was a sensor or something.

We get this occasionally . Open the flap above the grill and reset the computer . Also make sure the tracks are clean

I found the reset and it seemed to do the trick, (even though fairline says no need to ever reset).
