Problem with hard top sliding roof on a Fairline Targa 44 2011 motor turning but nothing happening

Hi, I have the same boat and have problems with my roof. I'm sure you've tried the reset button on the control panel up in the enclosed panel in the roof.

It’s past that stage now the motor is not engage in the roof, have you ever taken the hardtop off and had a look at the running gear

I’ve not explored that far, I understand that by unbolting the fixings from above you are able to lift the roof off. I was told it’s very heavy and the best way is to have some fenders on the roof so they can take the weight and give clearance.
