Fairline Southampton

No direct dealings with them - other than Trevor Betts once showed me round a Phantom 40 when he was based at Port Solent. I didn't buy it. They're owned by EBY. That's all I know about them except that Mendez Marine are above them on the first floor of the same building.
 
I was negotiating a purchase with them late 2007 and had dealings with Ben and Trevor. They were direct and professional in my opinion - good negotiating style but Dickies succeded in getting my order. Decision purley on time/cost.

Since then I have had cause to ask them for info from time-to-time and despite no sale they responded promptly and professionally.
 
About to complete on a new boat from Trevor/EBY. This would be our second purchase from him/them and assuming nothing comes out of the woodwork on our new boat would have no hesitation in concurring with everybody else's comments.
 
They were a JV between Fairline CI (Mark Neal and Paul Webb) and EBY, both if which firms of whom I've bought new Fairlines from and both excellent/trustworthy. I think they're now 100% EBY so again, a very good outfit. I haven't met/dealt with Trevor directly but as they're part of EBY they must be good. Good luck!

Yep me too! I bought three boats from them... One was crap, but not their fault and the last one was my P38 'Panache'. I tried to buy the T40 from them too but they didn't have what I wanted at the time.

Excellent company and Trevor's the main man there. I never dealt with Ben, but I think he has left now.

James and Nick are main directors in Essex but they work closely with Trevor.

In my experience they are a good company, very honest and flexible. I was buying a small Glastron off Ben last year and couldn't complete due to ill health, they refiunded my deposit straight away, no quibble. I would definitely buy a bigger one off them if my numbers come up!!

I was mainly dealing with Ben, although Trevor did help the deal when he was off, they were both very professional. Its a shame Ben has left, apparently he has set up his own brokerage somewhere in Southampton
