Hi,just offered 150,000 stg for
2001 phantom 46,is this stupidly
low.They are asking 235,000.

Thanks

If its in Ireland and knowing the state of the Irish economy, its a great offer but I dont think anyone in the rest of Europe would take the offer unless the boat was a salvage job

I'm missing the point of asking after having placed the offer.
As soon as you'll hear from the seller, you'll be able to tell us the answer to your own question, I reckon.

Sounds stupidly low to me, however you never know. Best of luck.

BTW if it's based in Scotland I might know the boat cause I know of a P46 for sale here. PM me if it could be as I know it's history. I don't know current owner but I do know the previous owner.

If its a stupid offer and a sensible seller, maybe he wont hear anything at all ;)

So you sold the princess then ? id say if its the banks and its near what it owes them then yes its not far off, I have heard of one that sold last year for around the 180k mark so 150 is a good price in this climate though I doubt Fairline would see it valued at that in there eyes.

Good luck with it.

I dont know whats the problem with this and why put it in a public forum.

You can offer whatever you want to anything, boats and yachts included. But the owner has the right to refuse your offer even if it was 1k short of the asking price.
So good luck!

You mean the gloss oak or maple? That is worth a 50k haircut. If you get it for a vvv low price you may have to take a similar (number 2) haircut when you come to sell it, so it isn't the bargain you think.
