Fairline OEM\'s

I don't normally plug my Web Site but I have created a thread that gives all of the Fairline OEM suppliers that I'm aware of. Another (self confessed) geeky forumite has helped me with the list but if anyone knows of any other suppliers perhaps you could let me know.

Here's the link..

http://www.fairlineownersclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3798

I've made it a sticky topic so it will always be easy to find.

Cheers, Pete

Re: Fairline OEM\'s

Thank you for taking the time to do this as it is so useful.

I have three things that I am finding impossible to track down:

1. The deck shower head - stupidly I left it attached in the cold weather and it exploded - it has a sailboat on the side and Made in Italy 20050521 - but no clue where to start looking.

2. The drop over chrome catch that stops the shower door opening - again I have looked on so many marine websites without luck.

3. An Allen Key headed bolt for the bathing ladder hatch hinge - have asked Fairline but still waiting.

Any pointers would be welcome.

Thanks

Andrew

Don't see me on the list, we supplied switch gear and chargers in the mid 1980's.

Re: Fairline OEM\'s

They may have multiple carpet suppliers but the widely used "Gigant" series (sort of big loops, berber style) is made by Ege carpet. Ege is Danish but they recently transferred prodn of some carpets to UK and if you are matching up colours you have to know if your original carpet is ex Denmark or UK. Also Ege do custom colours for Fairline and wont sell direct through their dealer network, so you HAVE TO buy those colours from Fairline.

The overcarpets are made by a firm in Northampton, just forgot the name but googlable becuase they mention fairline overcarpets on website. Again, not sure they sell direct as they know the colours are made by Ege for Fairline. Many Fairline suppliers, though not all, are contracted not to sell bespoke Fairline product direct to public

Re: Fairline OEM\'s

Your kidding me JFM - are you saying that I must buy my replacement (orange juice stained) carpet direct from Fairline or Heather @ EBY?

Re: Fairline OEM\'s

Thanks Pete. Some additions to the list:

MJ also make some interior upholstery. They make the leather sofa covers on Sq58, frexample. no website. Contact Martin Duce

Internal lights are mostly cantalupi. timage supply as you say, but so do others eg Aquafax and IMP

Axon's website is www.axoncontrol.co.uk They're 1/2 way thru making an online shop but for now you have to ring up. They're making me new dash panels at the moment in silver, to replace the "old jaguar" look walnut, which doesn't look right on a light oak boat (wake up, Fairline!)

Many of the cleats etc are catalogue Cooney items, not Trend Marine bespoke stuff

Hansgrohe axor "terrano" range taps (and towel railes, toothbrush doshes, loo roll holders etc) are used in later squadrons, and another range (mixed gold silver, forgotten the name, but easily finadable on hg website) on earlier squadrons, but targas and phantoms use less expensive taps, dunno what make, not hansgrohe. Hansgrohe sell spares by telehone from their Esher spares number but whole products have to be bought from dealers, of which there are many online.

Re: Fairline OEM\'s

The showers/taps etc come from here I think. I was there after the last cold spell buying a new transom shower (last one also exploded) and I spotted boxes to go in the foyer marked up for Fairline. They are the importers for most of what they sell.

All teak decking and some of the teak tables are www.wattsons.co.uk or maybe .com, in kettering

Pedestals are mostly besenzoni. UK supplier is www.timage.eu. These things are very expensive. timage also do spare handropes, remotes, etc for the besenzoni passerelles

Nav lights vary by model. Standard catalog items, like Hella

EC Smith do the bathroom fans too
