it sounds like a Falcon, no connection to Fairline.

Both are extremely well made boats to be proud of /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Falcons made just outside Norwich on the Norfolk Broads next to Brooms.
I believe two ex Broom employees started the company and maintained quality standards.

Nice boats and a softer ride than many similar size boats. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If not it's a Falcon. There is no such make as Fairline Falcon. It is either a Fairline Sprint or a Falcon 23. Both were fitted with the AD205 V6 petrol but completely unrelated makes.

A good boat loads of them in Guernsey, well put together.

There were also two versions of the 27ft model built by the same company with single or twin engines.

Two of these in my local marina,Harbour master being the owner of one of which he is very pleased.

Quite like the look of them myself well built and easy to manouvre in the marina with the dp leg.

Congrats

Congratulations on the new boat, I bought a 93 falcon last year and have been delighted with it, despite having to re-engine it. Mine is a diesel but can confirm that they are super sturdy well built boat and I hope you enjoy yours as much as we are enjoying ours. For a 23 ft boat its got a great layout and imho you have chosen well for a first time boat. Any specific info I can help you with, just ask. Would say that she doesn`t handle brilliantly at very low speed so until you get used to her, be very gentle and do every manouvre very slowly. Have added a picture of my Angeline and am based in Gosport. Mine is a 93 boat and I think only big change was in the bathing platform so yours may be slightly different.

also in Malta we have 2 of these
a more recent 23 and a 22 SPC

i really used to like the 22 SPC at its production time in the late 80s due to impressive accomadation inside
also there seakeeping qualities where very solid indeed

Falcon had a cracker in there hand at the time
