Hi All
A mate of mine has a Fairline Corniche 31 it is powered by twin TAMD41B 200hp engines.
He is having the boat lifted in a week or so and is going to change the cutlass bearings in the P brackets.
He knows that the shafts are 1.5” but would anyone have the exact details of the size for the new cutlass bearings. IE: Length and outside diameter.
He wants to ideally source them before hand to save time ashore.
Any info, very gratefully received.
Cheers

Check the shaft measurement with a vernier to confirm 1.5" as this is close to 38mm and sometimes 40mm metric sizes. My Turbo 36 has 50mm metric, so the Corniche may be metric also. They are ex stock at CC Marine, Universal Marina on the Hamble, if obtained over length they are easy to cut down, but I cannot advise the specific length or OD, and would suggest diretc measurement when ashore.

Might be worth asking this question on the Fairline Owners Club site..
