Fairline 21 Sprint Fuel gauge

I have recently Bought a Fairline sprint 21 it's a 1990 . I have noticed the fuel gauge does not work. I went on Youtube and have watched many Video how the check the sender and check if the gauge is working.
I jumped the terminals on the sender and nothing .so then connected the 2 terminals together and nothing. All the videos show 3 wires going to the back of the gauge however when I remove the dash there are more terminals on the gauge than I expected. So my question is where can I get the same fuel gauge.? as all I can find are the same 3 terminal types

Extra wires maybe the dial illumination?
