Hi I have a Garmin GM! 20 linked to an airmar transducer 20-633-01 Fitted by FAriline new 2019

The temperature failed soem time ago and now the and depth has failed

I'm thinking the quick fix is a new transdcucer. BUt it looks a bit of a minefield as to what to go for

Anyoen got experience on this set up thx

The temperature senders are notoriously unreliable.

It's worth checking that the depth transducer still has some fluid in it. Failing that, I'd check the connection at the back of the instruments.
Thanks for the advice. I will check the cable. But don’t know where to look for fluid. Any pointers gratefully received

Depending on your engines you could install the Volvo Tri data transducer, link it directly to the VP EVC system and then share the data (and other engine data) with your Garmin via NMEA2k

I’m pretty sure Airmar make the VP unit and so it will likely be a direct fit. Albeit you’d need to run the cable through to the helm…

are we talking about Airmar DST800?
temp stopped on year 4, now only works when it dries out when on the hard :) stops a few mins after getting back in the water...
well documented "feature" of this device
speed wheel gets fouled within a week in the med
depth works now for 9yrs, not sure Pete there's liquid in thruhulls!

EDIT: I doubt they'd fit two ducers Pete, probably a triducer thruhull...

The set-up that I have on our Fairline (Tridata) is a thru-hull paddle wheel / temp and in in-hull depth transducer. We actually fitted a new casing for the transducer as it was leaking fluid.

interesting, i'd expect to be cheaper to fit a triducer and be done with. Mind OP mentions GMI20 so 99% that's N2K, so not really tridata
