My PU coated acrylic cockpit cover was showing the signs of age - stitching had come undone and the PVC had cracked etc but the fabric was stucturally sound so I restitched the seams and replaced the windows etc.
My problem now is the original blue colour of the cover is showing quite faded on the outside. The colour inside is still very sold so I assume this effect is due to weathering and or fading by UV rays.
I remember reading that acrylic canvas can be dyed but I am at a loss as to what product/process to use to achieve this Can anyone assist me?.
