Hey all.
Looks like the boat purchase is likely to be in the early new year, but in between that, I live on the Thames, about 5 minutes walk from the jetty at Greenhithe.
Since seeing the F-Ribs online, its got me thinking, well before buying my boat, I certainly could afford one of these and a decent outboard for it, and between now and then, get my butt on the Thames regularly to practice and build my skills. Will be doing VHF as soon as I can, its on the list since completing PB2.
We are thinking of the 430, as it is a decent size, yet packs down small enough, our balcony storage unit could house it securely with the outboard(so nicely shaded and protected). Of course washing off sea water and drying before storing again.
Would be quite amusing telling neighbours we keep our boat on our balcony!
So, what do you guys think of these? We like the idea as on the boat, much easier to store when not in use.
