F. C. Morgan Giles 12 Metre \"Devonia\"

Hi All,

Just in case anyone knows....

I recently received a copy of Uffa Fox's book entitled "Sailing, Seamanship, and Yacht Construction", and while thumbing through it for the first time was literally struck by the lines of a particularly beautiful 12 Metre yacht called "Devonia", designed by FCMG, but never built.

I've contacted the Teignmouth & Shaldon Museum, and the FGMG's daughter to ask about drawings, but few people know the design, and so far have had no luck in finding the plans or ascertaining their fate.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd be most grateful to hear them.

Cant help with any info but see what you mean though. Interesting Uffa s take on 'pointy sterns' as well for his own 12

Yes the canoe stern is interesting.... not sure Uffa's right though !
