That is because it does not need an anode for the prop. I had one on a saildrive for 10 years without an anode. On a shaft drive you should not need one either. My two-bladed Flexofold shaft-mounted propeller has no provision for an anode. I use a ring anode on the shaft instead.
I did the same. Darglow said it was not required but i fitted the shaft anode anyway. Every year I lifted out and i changed the anode for new as it had 3/4 gone. In my simple mind that means it's maybe doing some good and protecting something somewhere. But then again I'm often wrong. My two-bladed Flexofold shaft-mounted propeller has no provision for an anode. I use a ring anode on the shaft instead.

Jonathan it's a very long story ,there two parts to it,And a bit more thread drift. I had noted your absence Vic and was getting twitchy - so glad to see you back (and healthy if you are to haul out). How is the eye?
Jonathan
Eye still a bit off , they say no long term effects but I not so sure .Obviously your eye must have mended as you make no mention.
Its a forum, most of those who transgress are shown the error of their ways and knuckle under, or leave. I have noted some positive changes - though I still note some boorish behaviour - but not so much I'd complain.
I confess the idea of living on any yacht, smaller or not, in 'Northern' Europe is not something I would relish - unless I had sensible of heating both the yacht interior and water. With these amenities secured I would feel more confident. But I am a self confessed wimp and like my creature comforts (and more importantly the company and support of my wife).
However - glad you are still around and pleased you have a new chapter to look forward to.
If I can offer any support or help - drop me a PM
Best wishes
Jonathan
