Eyemouth will be a great place to hide - and I am in Scotland

Och aye, welcome the noo. Perfect shelter.
You can even park with your sails still up!

The Eyemouth fishing fleet circa 1930 - from a "glass photographic slide" we found in my mother's garage; taken by my late father or grandfather.

EDIT:
They did mention the wind here, didn't they?

Responded to Dylan's post about the Northumbrian Pipes.
When you want to set some film of Scotland to music you could do worse than use Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham playing Sarah's Tune.
Mind you its far too good to waste on East Coast film - better wait until you arrive in Gods Country which begins at Cape Wrath and extends to Macrahanish.

I've got some others, including Arbroath, Tarbert and Sandend all taken at the same time. I think (hope!!!) I've got them on a portable hard drive somewhere. If interested drop me a PM and I'll dig them out and e-mail them to you.

I am sure the fisheries museum in Arbroath would like copies of these.

If anyone knows where this is, please let me know. My father was from Paisley so it might be there - but it could be anywhere!

Pics with text in them are easy to determine which side is left and which is right - but this one doesn't so it may be "reversed" left to right. The "54" is just a sticker I added - but it could be on either the front or the back of the glass "plate".

And these ones!

Image below now identified as St Monans - thanks DaveS & NormanS

Picture below now identified as the Townhouse and clock Tower, High Street, Stonehaven. (Thanks Findhorn)

As with film, the emulsion side of the glass plate was closest to the lens. So, when viewing a slide or negative, you look at, or through, the gloss side. No idea where it is though...

PS: a real treasure trove of photographs. Thanks!

I'm fairly sure the second one is St Monans and the third looks familiar, maybe Girvan or Maybole? My first reaction to the first was "Forth and Clyde Canal", but I can't identify the location, and with doubt about whether it's reflected...
