extra sails

hi.all i have a slight problem in as much as i have too many sails, i have a fully bat main on the boat and a spare fully bat main , also a few other sails that i will never use. i i think??? should i sell these other sails, or keep them , as they are all in very good conditoin, im worried that they could go mouldy in there bags in the long term, what do you think. as they take up a lot of room. in there bags. regards to all..

You probably won't get much for them if you sell them. If you are not a liveaboard why not get them off the boat and keep them somewhere dry - should last pretty much forever like that if correctly folded.

Easy on there Ken, 'e is from oop north round Lancashire laik. Far enough from the vulgarity of them from the sarf, but not far enough north to be in the land of culture and education like what we is but.

I would sell the sails. There are plenty of lofts who will take them and store for sale. They will advise on what bhteir value is. Seateach in the UK or Westaways UK have some internet listings for secondhand sails.
