external cockpit hose (shower) fitting - can i change the hose ?

need to be able to disconnect the hose from the wall fitting, this will do the job

but i need a longer hose, can i fit a new hose, not clear from the pic ...

You could of course cut the supplied hose and splice in a length of suitable hose using a couple of nipples.
