Hi,

Some may have seen my other post in the PBO forum. I am looking for experienced crew to get my UFO 34 yacht "Sunrunner" from Pwllhwli to Brighton starting next weekend, most likely Saturday 24th.

Planned states are

Pwllheli
(Fishguard)
Milford haven
(Lundy)
Padstow
Newlyn
Falmouth
Plymouth
Brixham
Poole
(Chichester)
Shoreham-by-Sea

Bracketed stages may be ommitted if conditions permit, also if any qualified skippers decide to come then we could maybe sail through and join a few of the stages.

Terms are crew make and pay for their own travelling arrangements and share food costs, I will pay for marinas and fuel and all boat costs.

PM me if interested and I will try to get back to you asap.

Thanks,

Boo2

Was quite a slow trip Rocyn really.
Just this time of year with the weather being as changeable as it is I would want to push on and get the job done .This boat should be pretty quick when sailed well too.

Suggested itinerary - to save time

Pwllheli
(Fishguard) - anchor to wait for tide
Milford haven - skip
(Lundy) - skip
Padstow - skip, unless you like trendy fish and chip. Will have the problem of the tides, unless you stay outside the harbour, which defeats the object of going there.

All these take you up into the Bristol Channel and add days and miles - unless you want to visit these places

Newlyn - only if you really have to, or need a haircut.
Falmouth - good for a break
Plymouth - skip, go to Salcombe, it's more direct
Or Newton Ferrers, less of a diversion and nice food at the Yacht Club.
Brixham - skip
Poole - skip Go for Swanage and anchor
(Chichester) - why?
Shoreham-by-Sea

Given shorter days you will almost certainly have to start or arrive in the dark however you cut the trip up.

Have fun that's why we do it, just hard to remember that sometimes.
