I've recently had a bit of a scary experience whilst out on a routine fishing trip,The bilges on my arvor 20 had started to fill up ,im thinking the stern tube must be damaged and water is coming through the tube, eventually i got back to the marina pumping water out all the way in ,after some closer examination i found the exhaust pipe had split right deep inside the boat, the access to the tube is absouloutly ridiculous the exhaust system must have been fitted before the deck was built has anybody had any experience of changing this exhaust pipe and is there any body who can think of an easier way to change the exhaust other than cutting the strengtheners in the bilges the pipe is 80mm rubber with steel reinforcing and going by the tightness of the old tube coming of im anticipating a major problem putting a new pipe on as the fittings seem to be exactly 80mm the same size as the pipe many thanks Driftus.
