A simple question I hope - I’m going to fit a new exhaust to my Beta 20 in a typical 3 section setup i.e engine exhaust outlet to hose, hose to Vetus thingy, Vetus thingy to hose, hose to transom exhaust outlet. My question is, do I need to use any type of sealant at any of the joins to make the setup leak free apart from obviously jubilee clips?

Thanks - I didn’t think so but as it’s freezing and I only want to make one dinghy trip to my boat I wanted to ensure I go with everything I need to start and complete the job!

If all of your fittings are tight and difficult to slide on, you can use good old silicone sealer.
This is not necessary (per your question) but can make sliding the pieces together easier.
It is also beneficial for dis-connecting the parts.
