So why close/move the thread about fuel? Protecting the participants? Do I need protecting? I think we should be told!

No. I mean the one that started "How many places are there to re fuel..." Very innocuous postings by 3 or so of us.......

Yes I see now, its because the fuel barge is a cash only establishment
