There's excitement in Hong Kong as the days tick down to the launching of a new blue water yacht. Well, I say new, but in fact her keel is fully integrated (including scantlings), the rudder is fully skegged and her lay-up is a bullet-proof 20mm.
When I read the spec I had to pinch myself, I thought all modern offshore yachts sported bolt-on keels, a-dangle, spade rudders, and wafer thin lay-up.
Is the Kraken 50 for real?
