One of my Vovlo 40A exhaust risers finally crumbled into a pile of corroded cast iron late on Tuesday night and due to steep angle of mud berth water was seeping into boat via rubber joint twixt horn and riser.
Managed to do temp fix and order new pattern unit from Trickett Marine(about 1/2 Volvo cost) around 10pm that evening.
Phoned about 8.30am the following morning to explain that was bit(very) desperate and they popped it on an overnight at no extra cost.
Well pleased.
 
I can also vouch for their service!

I urgently needed a trim tab motor before I was due to put my boat back in the water the following day....

Next morning, before 10am (although I did pay 18 quid for the privilidge), it arrived as promised!
 
I have also had good experience of them when buying a replacement exhaust elbow - helpful and delivered promptly.
 
This is all that was left under what appeared to be a solid piece of metal that had a small bump under the securing clamp.If it craps out at sea it fill your boat PDQ with water as well as exhaust fumes.There are further cracks under the scale extending throughout the whole casting.
Worth checking from time to time the things do not last forever.

had an exhaust riser and a manifold from them. very happy with them-actually collected the riser from them as i was down that way, and got 'talked down' after getting lost in Poole /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
