I've been too.
It does have a nice-ish feel, but it's a fact that it's pretty 'thin' on content. The new hall is 98% mobo's (hence not of interest to me) with a very small electronics area. The old hall is basically used downstairs only. Hardly anything upstairs apart from the Marine Mammal Rescue crowd with some blow-up fish (er, mammals), some museum bits and some frighteningly expensive paintings.
I walked round and round, and frankly I left after 3 hours (including a sit-down to eat my sandwiches) because there was nothing more to see. 3 hours at the show, 6 hours travelling...
Nice to see a pool again, but....
I think the BMF and the EC organisers need to have their heads banged together and get this mess sorted out. It can't go on.
