Owner of yet another T36 from Thames finally made it to RCC last week.
"White Temple" was originally kept at Harleyford . Has spent the winter having a B** T****** fitted and nice set of proper salt water anodes.Looks to be a nice one owner boat.

Buyer of above boat did have his eye on another T36 but it turned out to have bit of " history" regards overheating and was rejected even after considerable price drop.
Was supposed to be a second boat coming round but survey lift of Broom 1070 revealed impressive rash of blisters all over the bottom, absolute shock to both broker and seller of course .Prospective purchaser waved goodbye to cost of survey and lift.
No meeting of minds about true cost of repair.
End of sale.
Both boats still up there somewhere.

The overheating boat had other issues too, well known by the owner.

Hence the price :ambivalence:

FWIW I did message Fred ages ago if anybody wondered :p

Temple Knight was actually moored at Temple moorings. The clue is in the name!
Was owned for many years by same original owner. Not sure about more recently, but last seen ver6 recently on same Temple mooring. Used to be very well maintained.
My old T36 “MY Seascape”, was also at RCC last summer when we called.

RCC member and former long term denizen of the Thames, knew the previous owner of "Temple Knight" and mentioned the boat could be well worth a look to anyone considering buying a T36. Member had actually been on a cruise or two in this boat with its owner and therefore knew its history.
There are several boats/owners in the club, which not only started out on the Thames but appear to have spent much of their lives shuffling back and forth between there and the Merdeway.
Always nice to see visitors at the club, not sure we need anymore Turbos, it gets very confusing.
Mind you the berhing fees for a 42ft boat are always welcome. :)
