Hi, There must be a few out there who have returned to the UK. We have, just emptying the boat now. Need advice on the way to sell Imray charts that cover all the way from uk to Greece and a dozen pilot books that are all 4 years old. Is it the dreaded EBay or has anyone taken a stand at a boat jumble. Living at Lands End creates a pick up issue !

Cheers Richard

The For sale section on the forum works well for Items like that

I find selling on Amazon much more convenient than ebay. There is no auction, so no time limit on the listing. If you are away and can't post orders you can take the whole account offline very easily, and reinstate it on return. You don't need to take photos as the ISBN number of a book will make the listing correct. The amount you receive for P&P is fixed though, so if a book will cost more to post than is allocated make sure you allow for this in the selling price. You can put your prices up and down at anytime, and amazon pays you direct to your nominated bank account a short while after the purchases. I have sold many text books this way, some for as much as £80.
