Any info on the Evolution 26?

What do people think of them?

What is the difference between the 25 & the 26?

Pluses & minuses?

Potential pitfalls?

Haven't actually had much tho have you? Worth Googling for an owners assoc? I know they are likely to be biassed, but most are also very honest about potential problems/ issues & will also suggest probably solutions.

I suspect this forum has too eclectic a mix of craft to have more than a few of any specific Yot - other than perhaps the really popular, mass produced stuff. But then, shouldn't that include the Evo's?

I have made contact with a Evolution 25 owning forumite, so this forum always works in one way or another /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

And here is the forumite who convinced the other forumite to buy an Evolution 25, because I had one myself for 7 years...... Also raced on and against Evo 26.

Essentially

Evo25=Cruiser, higher coachroof, more ballast weight under sole, inboard diesel

Evo 26, Racer, flatter coachrrof, much lighter, outboard

Highly recommended.

There was a favorable test a year or 2 back in PBO (or poss ST).
