Have just rec a service kit for my 14hp evinrude worktwin carb and finding it quite difficult to put together despite fitting instructions.
Have enclosed pics of the pump base which fit against the block but am puzzled as to what it does.
the centre hole actually lines up with a hole in the block from which I assume pressure or vacuum is supplied.
Have tried blowing through the centre section from both sides but no evidence of an airway ,it seems blocked which then begs the question is it faulty or how does it work?
Advice appreciated.
