This week end assorted concerts at Rochester Castle with firework display on Saturday.
Cheap skates can moor at Rochester pier for free.
Maidstone River Festival on 25th in Maidstone town centre...with yet more fireworks.
Free access through Allington lock over festival weekend..

Aheemm.....in breaking with all Medway Posse traditions (and now in danger of being shunned) I have akshully paid to go inside the Castle grounds to see Jools tomorrow.....
Where and when's the alleged fireworks then?

The fire wurxs are normally at the fag end of the "classical" concert on Saturday almost certainly at the end of that 1810 dirge that most fanatics of dead white blokes music demand at the end of their interminal evenings.Most prob about 10.30 pm.
they are designed to wake up those who have got bored and dropped off and to those actually tone deaf enough to like this sort of stuff it is a hint to go home.
