Just searching the US {$$} boats for sale and remembered a posting a bit back that some of UK / Euro builders who export also market under different names in US etc.
Appreciate any cross references used from those in the know.
PM ok if its delicate info !

I think Viking is the only significant example. San Lorenzo are also sold as Viking, so the Viking line-up consists of Princesses up to about 80 feet and San Lorenzos for 80feet +

Marquis/Carver is rather like Princess/Viking. The Marquis designs are by an Italian office, for Carver, a US company. Intially Marquis production was also in Italy, dunno if that is still the case today.

Neptunus simply up and moved across The Pond to Canada.

Lazzara, Renzo, and Shannon each sound European. But all of these are actually located in the US.

Marquis is a totall different story to the Princess/Viking deal

Carver had a share in a company named Nuvari in a deal with x-Mochi top people now Dominator
that deal finished as Dominator had the rights for Nuvari 63 design which is in reality the Mochi 19 Sonic now called with some minor modification the Dominator 64
the designers for Marquis, Dominator and Mochi before its bankruptcy 1999 and Ferretti take over are Nuvolari Lenard who design a lot of boats
this is some of there company they have designed for: Mochi (old before 1999), Dominator, Cayman Yachts, VZ (the VZ 18 was a stepping stone for them in the early 1990s) and Marquis and Palmer Johnson from USA

a design studio like Nuvolari Lenard is something totally different to a company like Princess or Marquis
BTW Marquis was always built in the US

Neptunus is in reality a Canadian Company who opened a company for EU imports in Holland for a few years I think it was early 90s, they also produced a seperate EU line for a while
