I have to say we know quite a few non EU who seen to spend a heck of a lot of time in the EU without leaving , god know how they do it , I guess they just don't worry about it and keep under the radar

This would be difficult in Greece if you needed your DEKPA stamping unless one goes really under the radar. I'm sure there will be ways around it, it's just a case of being brazen enough.

Your Bang on grumpy .. just over this winter alone I met many who where on the way to Greece , never heard about the tax , not a care in the world , now that they know they worrying about it and the ones that still going are only going for a few months instead of there plain to stay at less a year .
