ETAP on TV

I half watched the prog. Probably had laptop as a distraction /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
D'ya reckon Etap would treat other customer looking for a few spares the same way if they didn't have a camera crew in tow? ie Guided tour of factory and lunch?

I gather the owners are pretty involved with the Etap Owners thinghie - so that must not have done them any harm.
Speaking for myself - I have also had the guided tour of the factory, and tho I did not get to take away the spares I needed - I got the plans (free of charge) to enable me to have the made.
On the whole I must say that the whole Etap experience had a family feel to it.

Probably safer sticking to GPS! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: Who\'s the mug?

Over here plenty- great photographers also and well looked after.

What made you move? Did someone say something upsetting?

If you're trying to be insulting, please try being a little more articulate about it! It's possible even for a techie type /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But to answer your question seriously, I guess you haven't been here, or you wouldn't be asking! Krakow's one of the most magical places to live imaginable.

Apart from that, the opportunities here are greater than sitting around in the UK, though most of my clients are UK based.

Also I personally like it more here. I'm interested in the culture, the language. And the people are great!

In the UK, it's difficult to get good clients if you're not in London, and I hate living in London. But for covering Eastern Europe/Russia etc. as I do you really need to be based here.

Lots of other reasons, but that'll do for starters, in case you're genuinely interested.

Re: Who\'s the mug?

Biography is available on my website.

Did I leave the UK because someone said something upsetting? No. To be completely honest, the reason why I moved to Krakow in particular, apart from the fact that the place enchanted me, was that I fell in love with the most beautiful and talented girl I ever met in my life. And she lives here. The rest fell into place.

What else do you want to know? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hopefully she's a different girl! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Got an e-mail this morning informing me I won bronze in the latest London Photographic Awards. Not Gold, but not bad for a start /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
