I e-mailed Woodrolfe Yacht Brokerage(who supply Etap yachts and spares in the UK), asking for information about that status. Currently, it seems that no new yachts are being built, but spares are. They are owned by MIC Industries, who look set to start producing yachts in Poland, rather than India. Things are looking up.

Not really news, it first broke back in Feb, confirmed in March.

What is interesting is that they are not building any boats at the moment. Mind you they wont be real Etaps, thats gone I think.

I think you may be right - but how German's Hanse now that they're built in Poland?
