Does anyone know the speed limit within the Etang du Thau?

I'm guessing in 5/6knots... but was hoping it could be a little higher.

I've crossed it a couple of times and I think they waterski on it, just remember to keep in the channel if going to cross it, and have really good eyesight as the channel markers are far apart. There maybe a speed limit in the channel, I can't remembe.
If the weather is dodgy you need permission from the capitainerie of Marseillan to enter it (maybe the other port if entering from the east.
These are all based on a very dodgy memory, sorry

Watch out for the uncharted rock which has less than 1.7m over it if you draw more than that.
