Essex / Suffolk Coast - Robson Green on now

I have an irrational hatred of Robson Green. Sorry, can't help it. I just want to shake him gently by the throat.

I think he seems like a genuinely nice bloke, one "celebrity" that I reckon I would enjoy a pint with.

Some quite interesting bits but the editing was a bit strange. It went Maldon, Clacton, Leigh, Orford etc.
A story about the loss of a white weeder off Southend illustrated by shots of a deep sea trawler out of Peterhead.
Still, better than the usual drivel on TV.

+1 but the article from the mirror doesn't make him out to be a decent bloke

Not the sort of thing that would alter my opinion. The wife, maybe, but not Robson. If that's the worst thing he has done, I think than confirms my thoughts on him being a bloke I could enjoy a drink with.

Which of us can honestly say that we have never run off with a vicar's wife, or a priests wife if we are Roman Catholic.

It's interesting to get an insight into other people's moral compass

IMHO the only moral compass you'll get an insight into from reading the papers is that of the collective readership they are pandering to. A whole load of what they print is made up or massively embellished, I certainly wouldn't base any character judgements on any of it.

To be fair, I think he may have meant my moral compass, as I didn't see too much wrong with what Robson did to the vicars wife. He could also have been talking about Robson's of course.

When it comes to infidelity in marriages, the blame lies with the married partner who strayed IMHO, not the third person who doesn't always know the strayee is married.
