Great podcast series overall, & this one I would agree with pretty much every word!

Keep the boat able to get somewhere, which means water on the outside & some way to move & steer. The rest is not so vital...

Interesting kit list as well - low friction rings for the reffing lines, nice idea! Plus dyneema reefing lines to cut down on any movement which would lead to chafe.

Big anchor, which seems common on these types of boats so likely to hold well & less likely to need to mess about with tandem. Spare dyneema anchor rode with buried bungie to give some stretch - not heard of that before! Deep 3rd reef so less likely to need to rig a storm trysail.
