Liz and I have been really busy lately so we're a bit behind with the video updates. Liz has been contending with absent painters: after agreeing and shaking hands with the head painter to finish the decks, I returned to the UK satisfied. Since then he disappeared and the whole yard have been trying to get in touch with him. As a result we had to use the second in command to apply the top coat whilst Liz put her foot down and told all workers to stop working until he made an appearance. It worked, but not before the painting team had almost finished applying the Awlcraft. It meant that other work, like carpentry, varnishing and faring of the hull, were put on hold. Here's some shots from Week 21 along with the usual link to the video update:
Laying the masking tape for the non-skid
Esper in her clingfilm tent
The lads faring the hull
The rudder covered in microlight before faring
The deck after three coats of Awlcraft Snow White
A glimpse of the cockpit box
