Esper Refit 10-11 - How much is it costing... and other questions

We took a short break up in Ko Lanta at the same time our workers broke for Songkran (Buddhist New Year). In that time we answered some of the questions we get asked about the refit project. I think Liz managed to skirt the budget question quite well!

Just before we left we spent an afternoon selecting our own teak for the floorboards and the head carpenter has begun sticking it down. Meanwhile the carpenters are hand sanding back the micro-balloon epoxy filler.

Hmmm, well things are going well but there is so much more to do. We've been discussing the toe rail this week, for example. That's gonna take the carpenter a while to fit, and that's just a small part of the project. I'd really like to be in the water before end of June as I have to return to the UK, but it's not going to happen. Never mind, we anticipated that.
