Espacher D1LC Thermostat help

Could anyone tell me what value the variable resistor is on the thermostat unit as the knob on mine got bashed, the result being the contents of the existing varible resistor have gone everywhere and the track is broken so im unable to measure it.
hope someone may be able to help, even a second hand one. i have looked on ebay and no luck and i dont want to buy a new one

According to the manual...

You can download the D1LC manual from here, and according to that the resistance is 1750-2080 ohms.
