Due to my total lack of forward planning and inability to make any kind of decision, I seem to have forgotton to make arrangements for this coming - fitting up supper - weekend.
Since BR is still out of the water and not due in until the following week, I shall be doing the last bits and pieces before she goes in during the weekend.
I will probably have one or two stalwart crew lending a hand. Lucky me!
Anyhow, it occurs to me that when it comes to later on on Saturday, we could drive along to Shotley to join in the festivities there and meet up with all you guys. But, in fairness, so no-one has to stay sober, it would be a bit useful if we had the chance of overnight accommodation before driving back to syh on Sunday morning for more work.
So, my embarrassing question is, could 2-3 spare berths for dog-eared seadogs be rustled up? And could the Bristol Arms rustle up extra grub at shortish notice?
