Ernest caisleys patent day bed,

Hello,

I’m am wondering if someone on this forum may be able to help me.
I am an upholsterer, who acquired a pull out chair/ bed with a plaque that say ‘Ernest caisleys patent’
On googling the name I was directed to this forum, as I believe he was a design of yacht furniture, and so I have joined in the hope of finding out more about this piece.

The piece has been reupholstered several times, and I am keen to restore it back to its original condition.
Having a patent too I am keen to see if I can explore this too.

That’s brilliant and very helpful - shame there’s no pictures, but hopefully will point me in the right direction. The mechanics of the chair bed don’t seem to be working so hopefully I’ll be able to resolve this now.
