Where in the Preveza/Levkas/Nidri area would I be likely to buy an epoxy resin pack for a hull repair that I am planning. I know that I can get the matting at Ionian Marina chandelry. I would prefer west system, but any suitable product that would be good for filling a redundant seacock hole.

Lefkas Marina , walk out of the gates cross straight over the road and keep going straight , second turning on the left you find a chandlers , he sells west system if I remember rightly .

As Vic wrote, the chandlers at Levkas marina. But check the date: they often have expired West epoxy on the shelves.
If you've time to wait, Fibermax (based in Greece, they're on t'interweb) have an excellent, comprehensive range of epoxy and glass products at sensible prices. Delivery is always prompt.

Just found their web address: http://www.fibermaxcomposites.com/shop/index.php?language=en

It's called Nautilas, ( the one outside the marina) you'll see their sign on the left I think it's a sort of painting of a sail boat and a sun.

It's well stocked in there.

The chandlery at Cleopatra has resins on the shelf, West System I think. I was looking there for some enamel paint (failed) but noticed that in passing. As others have said, check the batch dates. You may also find Ionion have resins as well as mat, just can't recall seeing any. Equally, if it's not on the shelf, they can often get stuff for you quite promptly.

Be careful to allow for the higher ambient temperature when doing epoxy work in Greece. I used some West with the fast hardener that I brought out from UK and it set so rapidly I could barely get the job finished. I bought some Greek product, quite a heavy gel, that takes an hour to set and can be more easy to use.

That's interesting , I have to remember that .
