Epoxy putty ?

Courtesy of a rock near Falmouth a couple of years ago, I have a few (ahem !) dinks in the rudder I would like to fill, sand and anti-foul when she is next out. I guess epoxy putty is the right stuff .... fill ..... dry ........ sand ?. Does that sound right ?.

Milliput is great for these jobs. Our local plumbers' merchant stocks it but it is widely available from model shops on-line. Considerably cheaper than the chandlery equivalent.

I tend to use this stuff... http://www.yachtpaint.com/gbr/diy/products/fillers/watertite.aspx purely because it seems to have a longer life in the can than the milliput type. Having said that I've nearly always got some milliput onboard.
Oh and GRIND... fill... dry... sand
