Epoxy Primer topcoat

Anyone have any ideas on using epoxy primer (such as Interprotect) as a topcoat on the deck? Looking for a practical finish over aesthetics. Presume you could apply non slip paint to required areas straight onto the primer or indeed mix granules into it?

I have used an epoxy primer filler on the deck then put an additive in two pack paint to give none slip finish. This worked well and looked good
