I'm planning to grit-blast my steel keels and epoxy them. Any recommendations about preparation before painting, or on products?

They dont epoxy coat big ships - I believe they paint them with chlorinated rubber.
More work, but the best anti rust solution is to remove the keels and have them galvanised.
