I'm sure this has been covered before but, if one were to buy a US EPIRB in the states, would it be OK to just register it in UK? If not, what's to stop you registering it with the US peeps, as surely lots of cruising yachtsmen must have an EPIRB from one place when they then spend weeks or months in another continent?
