Hi guys, I recently joined this forum and I have found a lot of interesting posts covering a wide range of subjects. I am going to race more offshore this year and doing among others the Fastnet. I have recently done my VHF course and covered many safety systems available on a yacht. I read about personal EPIRB and I was thinking of maybe getting one myself, small enough to keep it inside a life jacket. I am not sure if I should or not invest in one. Any one with views on this? Have you used one? Do you own one? Which types would be best suited?
